  2. Is it possible now that our OL will be better next yr compared to this year? I know we still lose 3 starters but I think some guys will step up and we will have a better offensive line!

    1. Thats hard to say. On the obvious side, we lose 3 starters and their replacements have little to no experience. On the other hand, we're finally looking at the kids Hoke brought in, they'll have learned the system by now and have an entire year to get comfortable in the starting role. Their talent says we'll be really good, but it might take time to get there

  3. Think of these behemoths, Taylor Lewan 6'8 308, Kyle Kalis 6-5 310, Chris Bryant 6-4 340 and Schofield at 6-8, that combines with the athleticism of our 3-deep Centers- Joey Burzynski, Jack Miller, and Blake Bars

  5. Best news I've heard in a long time. The only thing that will make next year sweeter is Derrick Green and/or Laquon Treadwell joining class 134. Come 2014, once we get nothing but pure Hoke commits on the team and all the RichRod kids are gone, Michigan is going to be a force to be reckoned with! Long live Hoke! GO BLUE!

    1. Really? You do realize that Lewan, a sure 1st rounder, is a RichRod recruit? And Gallon, and Dielo, and Gardner? And Fitz, and Jake Ryan and Craig Roh, and Denard? Divisiveness is what ruined that era, and it's what needs to stop when you are looking at Michigan men. Honestly, it's the dumbest thing you can say three years in.

    2. Yeah I have to agree with the Professor on this one. RichRod did recruit the same QUALITY of players as Hoke is, but just not in the same QUANTITY as Hoke is. I think the biggest difference you will see is in the development of the O and D lines. Hoke is all about winning in the trenches and as fans we will see both lines being developed and recruited hard by this staff. RichRod prioitized "slot-ninjas" and Hoke is prioritizing O-linemen with a lot of nasty to 'em. RichRod wasn't a bad coach, he was just a VERY poor fit for Michigan and the B1G. Kinda like Denard in a spread vs. Denard in pro-style. One is amazingly dynamic and the other is good, but weaknesses are much more exposed.

      Major difference. We love Denard.

    3. Even though RichRod's years were the worst we've seen and he's always going to be attached to that, I have to admit I wish he would've gotten one more season, and I feel he got hosed with the defensive minds he had. So much of the turmoil surrounding him had nothing to do with RichRod. If you guys haven't read "3 and Out" by John U. Bacon, I highly recommend it. I liked the RichRod hire, I loved his offensive imagination, and hated the way he seemed to ignore defense.

Anyway sorry for the lack of activity this week. Back to school, back to practice. Weekends I'll try to be flowin. Thanks for the continued support!
