Michigan Offers Ian Bunting

At 6'7", Bunting is an intriguing prospect who has quite an impressive offer list at this point in his recruitment.  The first time I talked to Ian was back in October of last year and at that time he thought that he hadn't heard from Michigan at all.  It turned out that Michigan had in fact sent him 6 letters that his coach neglected to give him.  After talking with Bunting for a while I found out that his grandmother is a Michigan alum and was really pulling for her grandson to be a Wolverine.  Earlier today Bunting told me, "Michigan is definitely a school I'll be highly considering. Unfortunately my grandma passed away last Friday, but I know she was watching from Heaven and she helped me get this offer.  This is a special one."  Bunting seems to have a very strong family background which is admirable in a young man and he seems to be quite proud of that fact.  Bunting also has a former high school teammate, Brad Anlauf, on the Wolverines roster already which is another tie he has to the program.  Bunting told me he plans to visit Michigan within the next few weeks which could be a key visit now that he holds a committable offer.  He is definitely one to keep a close eye on moving forward.

  1. I am glad he finally got a offer from UM. But UM has a lot of ground to make up with him. If UM is only taking one TE it maybe a race between Bunting, Helm and Weishar.

I am sorry to hear about his grandma.

  2. Ian Bunting has been my top choice at TE for a while.

On tape, he looks like a match-up nightmare because of his size and his pass-catching ability.

And he has the frame to put on a lot of muscular weight which will greatly increase his strength.

I'm glad that he finally got a Michigan offer.

    1. Frank your back. You have not commented in awhile. You should comment here more often. You have a lot of good comments.
